History

1951: Production and sales of photo tripods starts in Toshima-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
1955: Heiwa Seiki Kogyo Co., Ltd. is established in Kita-ku, Tokyo, Japan due to expansion of business.
1960: OEM photo tripods are supplied to overeseas brands.
1970: Launch of photo tripod brand "HEIWA".
1972: The headquarters moves to Yashio-city, Saitama, Japan due to expantion of business.
1987: New approach to become a great video tripod manufacturer is introduced and made policy.
1995: Launch of video tripod brand "Libec".
1996: OEM transactions with Sony Corporation commence.
2006: Libec Sales of America Inc., is founded in Los Angeles, California, USA, as a distribution subsidiary.
2007: Libec Technology Taiwan Co., Ltd. is founded in Linkou District, Taiwan, as a manufacturing subsidiary.
2017: Libec Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is founded in Singapore as a distrubution subsidiary.
2023: The headquarters building is beautifully renovated thanks to continuous company growth.
